This adaptation adds a modified gimbal for balance and leveling purposes. A tripod portion can be constructed from rebar pieces, which in my case will support a 4-directional trail camera system mounted on top of the gimbal. This setup may prove beneficial to others as well. I incorporated alternatives to the original six bearings design and enlarged the center hole to accommodate a 1/4 inch threaded rod for better stability.
