Trebuchet - Tribok - Blide
thingiverse
I had some fun designing a trebuchet - also known as "Blide" or "Tribok" in German. I'm fascinated by the simple mechanism and at the same time very powerful. As the design is easy to print, I took a few minutes to design fixed bearings that are printable AND account for the direction of forces. Okay - we can agree that this isn't necessary, but it's the dot on the "i"! Printing is easy. Just do it! No support needed. For the sling, I used sewing thread and candy paper. Fix one end with a screw in the corresponding dome and tie a loop at the other end to place it over the angled pin/hook. There are several different angles included, so find out what works best for you.
