Trebuchet
thingiverse
I constructed a trebuchet with an arm that's roughly one foot in length, which should be the limiting factor in its size due to printing constraints. To create your own counterweight, you can repurpose old 1.25-pound plates; I utilized them successfully. The peg for the counterweight is situated just beneath 1.1 inches. For optimal results, I recommend setting a high infill percentage for the pegs and decently high settings for the legs, arm, and base. However, be aware that due to the weight's considerable mass, my trebuchet tends to shake around on its base during operation.
