It was a normal day when I walked into my office to find that everything had changed. The computers were still on, but they seemed different somehow. The screens were glowing with a soft blue light, and the words on them looked like they belonged to another language. As I sat down at my desk, I noticed something strange about the keyboard. It was no longer in English; it now displayed the same foreign characters that had been on the screens. Suddenly, everything made sense - this was not my office anymore. The walls were a deep shade of purple, and the furniture was sleek and modern. A large window overlooked the city, but I couldn't see the familiar skyscrapers outside. Instead, towering spires reached up towards the sky like giant metal flowers. I tried to make sense of what was happening, but my mind was racing with questions. How did I get here? What had happened to the world outside these walls? And who - or what - was behind this strange transformation? As I sat there in stunned silence, a soft voice spoke up from behind me. "Welcome," it said. "I see you're enjoying the new decor." I turned to see a figure standing in the doorway, smiling at me with an air of superiority. It was a woman with long, flowing hair and piercing green eyes. "Who are you?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady. "I am the one who has brought you here," she replied, her voice dripping with confidence. "And this is your new home." I felt a surge of fear run through me as I realized that I was trapped in some kind of alternate reality. But the woman just laughed and said, "Don't worry, you'll get used to it." As I sat there, trying to process what was happening, I heard a faint whispering in my ear. It was a soft, raspy voice that seemed to be coming from all around me. "You're not who you think you are," it whispered. "You're not even human." I spun around, but there was no one there. The woman just smiled and said, "Don't worry about that now. Let's get started on your new life."
