We examine land use and treaties in grade 4 and grade 5 in Alberta. This map was developed from one found in Education is Our Buffalo, available at the link below. More puzzles that divide Alberta will follow (physiological regions, voting districts, etc.). The purpose is to encourage students to think critically about our past, present, and future as well as boundaries that separate us.
