Extracting textures from a .skp file is simple with suitable software. Sketchup, C4D, 3ds Max, or Rhinoceros 3D (trial versions sufficient) all provide straightforward methods. In Sketchup, export as a 2D file under File/Export/2d Graphic - drop down option. For C4D, importing the .skp file automatically generates a folder with textures next to it. In 3ds Max, textures are stored in ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages. With Rhinoceros 3D, open the material editor, select a material, click on the texture name, and find them in ..AppDataLocalTempembedded_files. Alternatively, export an fbx file with embedded media selected to generate textures alongside it. Remember, you can also copy and paste these textures to any desired folder.
