treasure chest as piggy bank

This is a piggy bank, fashioned to resemble a pirate's chest. It stands at 10cm by 6, providing a suitable size for children to store their coins or first hidden treasures. The design draws inspiration from a reworked linked concept, taking a significant amount of creativity from scratch. Constructed entirely within inkscape, reviewing the different slides may offer additional insights into its development. Cut the piggy bank out of 3mm thick material, preferably plywood but MDF would also be acceptable. Use red for cutting, blue for engraving (license), green for motif engraving, and pink as an indication to avoid printing. Assemble the box through simple means: apply glue and snap it into place using a rubber hammer while holding it tight with a press. Constructing the lid requires more complexity: link the arch (1) and L-shaped piece (2) together twice. Insert both lateral planks (3) carefully, ensuring a tight fit, followed by the top one (4). Finish by sliding both sides (5) into place; soft hammering may be required.
