Treasure Chests remain a constant presence throughout The Legend of Zelda series, making appearances in every title from A Link to the Past onward. Present both within Overworld and Dungeons, each Treasure Chest contains an item that directly aids Link on his journey. Standard-sized Chests typically house everyday items like Small Keys, Bombs, Arrows, and moderate sums of Rupees. Bigger Chests hold rarer, more significant items such as armor, Big Keys, Pieces of Heart, and substantial amounts of Rupees. Certain chests are sealed off or safeguarded, while others become visible only after a puzzle within the same room is completed.
