I'm putting two reliable DC motors to good use in my workshop projects, salvaging them from old treadmills. I'm upgrading these DC motors with variable speed controllers and adding forward/reverse functionality to enhance their performance. The belt is designed to fit a 1.5 HP DC motor seamlessly. Since the SolidWorks CAD files only serve as fit-up and rendering templates, they don't provide detailed interior views of the motors' components. Fortunately, the CAD model's weight accurately reflects the real-world weight of these motors.
