TreadGaming Enclosure

TreadGaming Enclosure

thingiverse

This enclosure is for the TreadGaming project featured on http://www.treadgaming.com. The latest demo video showcases gameplay using Dying Light and can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a05nqEcEuag. The aim was to create an intuitive way to exercise while having fun. To assemble, print one base, one lid, and three buttons. Place the plastic part within the lid's rectangle, insert the TreadGaming PCB hardware, attach the buttons, squeeze the sides of the base to secure the PCB, and finally, invert the base and insert the lid. The lid's "lips" have been recently updated for improved durability, and the buttons were also modified for better functionality (see previous update details). Additionally, the X-axis belt was tightened, and the enclosure's PCB was secured to prevent any wobbling inside the enclosure. A source file is included for generating .stl files, while text_on.scad is available upon request. Remember to set use_low_resolution = 0 when rendering using F6 for rounded edges and corners. The v3 versions reflect these recent updates. (see previous update dates for more details)
