This Makerbot part removal tool, designed for quick and easy use, replaces inefficient tools provided by the company. Modeled after a chisel or putty knife, it applies precise force to release parts without re-aligning the printer. Print it scaled 1.5x, sand the chisel tip, and download as a standalone file. Be cautious with metal hammers! Use 100% infill, .27 layer height, 55 feed rate, 110 heated bed temp, and 220 extruder head temp for optimal results. However, the original hammer design had issues, so an updated fixed head has been uploaded to prevent splitting.
