This is a gear for the LD-V4300D/LD-V4400 Laserdisc players. They use two small gears to push the tray out and pull it back in, and if anything ever bangs the tray they can easily snap. I quickly modeled a version of the gear using AutoDesk Fusion, and while the teeth are somewhat misaligned, it didn't appear to matter.
