Tray for 2 Pairs of Glasses

Tray for 2 Pairs of Glasses

I was searching for a solution to store glasses in my Jeep. I needed something that would hold two pairs of glasses since I don't normally wear glasses when driving. I have two identical frame sets, one pair with tinted lenses and the other with clear glass lenses. This made it easier to create both sides of the design the same way. This project is a remix of the Tesla Drawer. To make it work for my needs, I had to move the arm notches to the end of the slots. Then I duplicated and flipped the part. I used TinkerCad to modify the STL file. Edit in TinkerCAD: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9UpkwRDjP0G I left the object in TinkerCAD as two parts so it can be edited more easily. It can still be exported as a single STL without grouping the parts together. To mount the tray, I used 3M Dual Lock. This is a very strong plastic type of velcro-like material.
