TRAXXAS TRX4 Tracks (trax) shock mounts for brass portals

These brackets will help you fit the Traxxas TRX4 track kit to your vehicle if you have brass portal covers installed. This should save a lot of time if you want to swap between wheels and tracks frequently. To install, simply screw in 4 screws: 3 to the portal and one to the shock. I used the existing screws that came with my kit, as they were long enough. The cap heads need to sit within the plastic mount, so be careful not to drill too deeply when using a 4.5mm drill. Also, if your tracks won't fit over your portal covers, you can create spacers to space them out a few millimeters. I had to do this myself and it worked like a charm. It took me a few tries to get the design just right, but so far, it's been holding up well without breaking easily. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to ask!
