Traxxas Summit FPV Anti-Vibration Rig
thingiverse
Work in progress because I'm too laid back to do it myself - you'll need to rotate the STL's to print. Fits Traxxas Summit or similar RC models in the 1/10 to 1/8 scale range. Print with ABS or PETG for added strength at a layer thickness of 0.2mm (mine were printed at 0.3mm for faster print speeds). Assembly is straightforward if you follow the pictures carefully. I drew inspiration from other designs and incorporated them into this overall design to give it a unique look. You'll need to cut a relief in the shell to accommodate the PAN servo. For attachment, use hot glue or M3 bolts; however, be aware that using glue might cause the rig to detach during roll overs. To secure the Camera Pod to the Pan Disk, I recommend using high-quality double-sided tape - it's more effective than hot glue. Additional features are included: a shovel, axe, and rear Battery/electronics Roof Rack. For the lid of the electronics box, I used a piece of 2mm foam cut to size and rare earth magnets to hold it together.
