Traxxas Slash Receiver Relocation
thingiverse
I had to reorganize the layout when I installed the Mamba Monster motor and ESC, and ran 6S for speed runs. Now that I've completed the speed runs, I needed to create a more conventional setup. Thanks to the large ESC provided by Mamba, this meant relocating the receiver to the front. I designed a mount to hold the ESC in front of the steering servo. The area around the front screw holes was a bit narrow due to the chassis narrowing, so there's a slight overhang (see picture of overhang on chassis). If I rebuild this, I'll make sure to hug against the chassis and use a more durable Alloy 910 filament or something. Designed with 123d, but thingiverse doesn't allow upload of 123d files, so if you want to modify this, ask and I'll send you the design files. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: It's thin so infill doesn't really matter, top and bottom layers are combined anyway, there's no infill at all.
