This is a highly detailed double tube Baja style bumper designed specifically for your Traxxas Slash (LCG) and Rally models featuring the iconic VW Bug body. The result is an incredibly realistic look that will take your off-road adventures to the next level. I printed this impressive bumper in black PETG, achieving exceptional quality on the lower section while opting for a medium-high quality finish on the upper part due to its complexity. To ensure successful printing, supports are highly recommended. My preferred method involves orienting the front of the bumper downwards on the print bed, which helps prevent curling and ensures a smooth finish. If you encounter difficulties during printing, I can provide modified designs that are 5mm or 10mm shorter on both sides to make it easier to print. For added stiffness, I recommend printing with 5 layers at 30% infill. Although infill contributes to the overall appearance, it doesn't significantly enhance the bumper's strength. To mitigate this issue, I reinforced the bumper's structure and incorporated Micky ears to help stabilize it on the print bed during the printing process.
