I upgraded my suspension by modding the slasher because I wanted a softer ride but still needed some decent impact resistance. This was an excellent decision if you don't want to use stiffer springs that alter how your vehicle handles. The installation involves drilling holes in each A-arm and securing with 4 M3 screws/nuts, but that's about it – the process is relatively straightforward. I employed two axial SCX10 shocks for this mod, and any similar-sized unit should work well, around 100mm in length.
