Traxxas Slash 4x4 body mounts adjustable height
thingiverse
I wanted to convert my traxxas rally to use the 2017 ford raptor body... and body posts were an issue. I tried the proline ones, and the traxxas ones... neither quite lined up... since the raptor body was supposed to go on the slash 2wd... so I cadded up posts similar to the ones I am using on my no-prep slash rwd from proline. These connect to the slash body mount holes on the stock shock towers and give you a variety of mounting options for bodies with pre-drilled holes, or you can use your own holes. I set them up to use the screw-on caps like the proline mounts... you will need m4 x 16 grub screws (4 of them) and 4 m2x12 coarse thread screws (or m2 x16 screws and nylock nuts) to secure the posts at the desired height. I am using a set of proline caps at the moment, but I will add some custom ones set up for heatset inserts as soon as I get some m4 heatsets for the Raptor body, you need one 10mm wide angled post holder (swept back in the front), one 15mm straight post holder (rear) and 4 x 50mm posts. I printed mine in Duramic PLA+ and they are stronger than the ABS mounts that come in the kit. Happy bashing!
