Traxxas Slash 2WD Wheelbase Extension

This is an experiment to extend the wheelbase of a Traxxas Slash 2WD to fit Arrma Infraction or Felony bodies. It makes the wheelbase 76 millimeters (3 inches) longer than stock. It is designed around the Slash LCG chassis, and I have no idea if it will fit the HCG chassis or not. It's a work in progress, so at the moment, you will still have to use the Slash body mounts, and the holes are not in the same place as the Infraction. I will eventually design some body mount adapters so that you can swap bodies directly between this vehicle and the Infraction/Felony. My reason for doing this is to build a 2WD 1/7 scale car that I can thrash around off-road, but you could also use it to build a drag car if you want. In that case, you may want to print it with something a bit stronger. In my tests so far, PLA has been adequately strong for casual hooning, although I haven't tested it on jumps yet (or with 3S power). Note that, because the extension plate goes behind the battery tray, this will move the center of gravity forward in the car. The 2WD Slash is designed to be very tail-heavy, so moving the weight forward does negatively affect the handling a bit. It's a large enough vehicle and has enough momentum that it should still be manageable like this, but eventually, I'd like to come up with a solution to move the battery further back and restore the original tail-heavy weight distribution. There are two extension plates. These are bolted in between the Slash chassis and the rear transmission casing. I will make a guide for assembly at some point - as mentioned before, this is very much a work in progress. You will need duplicates of all the screws involved in bolting the rear transmission casing and shock tower to the chassis. You will need to set your slicer to generate supports. If you want to try this, please bear in mind that I will probably change or add to the design over time. My eventual goal is to make this a complete and relatively easy conversion kit, but it's very much still in the tinkering stage.
