This custom part safeguards the rear bumper and suspension a-arms from being severely scratched over time when bottoming out on jumps. The long ribs on the Low Center of Gravity chassis near the motor and below the rear axle have worn down significantly, rendering them ineffective in protecting anything when the truck bottoms out. The cut-outs on this part should fit snugly over the top of the rear bumper and chassis ribs to secure it in place. To attach this piece, I plan to use super glue, double-sided tape, or a similar adhesive substance. If these methods fail, I will fasten it securely to the chassis using machine screws and nuts.
