I've printed several versions with varying levels of success. The first version worked well without needing much filing, but I had to file the support angles on subsequent versions to clear the shocks and ensure proper alignment. A touch of filing at the bottom was also necessary to line up the mounting holes. I have a V2 version with minor modifications that I've yet to print due to impatience. The V1 worked well with 30% infill, 0.20mm layers, and 9 top/bottom layers, but I'm printing the V2 in ABS for added flexibility and durability over PLA. I uploaded the V2 STL file, assuming the mount points will line up as expected. However, it's essential to test and verify before printing. If someone beats me to printing and installation, please share your experience so I can adjust and re-upload accordingly. UPDATE: I've since created a V3 version after splitting the shock mount from the body while racing. The new design features beefed-up support on the shock mount, increased hole size for better tolerances with ABS, and carved holes in the towers to reduce material and weight. I printed a beta V3 that required some filing to accommodate the tops of the shocks and redesigned it before uploading. Fortunately, all the holes line up nicely, but I haven't tested the V3 parts as uploaded yet. UPDATE for V4: With the new big bore shocks requiring more space, I extended the shock mount posts by 1mm and added an upper cross-brace to help keep them attached to the body. Printed but not installed – next time it breaks! Print the V4 with supports all (not just platform) for optimal results.
