Traxxas Maxx V2 GoPro Mount
thingiverse
This is a bracket to mount a GoPro to a Traxxas Maxx V2 roll cage. it snaps on without the clips - but will not stay on if you jump the Maxx If you print two of the clips, it will stay on for light jumps (I've done up to 6 foot vertical jumps before the impact of the landing pops it off) It also has two slots you can run zip ties or something through for even more security - but note the reason I didn't want to make to too solidly attached is something's got to give if (when) you crash - the bracket, the roll cage, the camera - so I figured better to have it just fall off then break something. It can be printed with no supports flat, but will be much stronger and less likely to break if you print it vertically with a little support for the gopro attachment arms. same with the little clips - if you print them flat (a "U" shape, they'll likely be strong enough but they'll be even stronger if you print them standing up - I have yet to break one printed in either orientation however. I printed these with Overture PLA Professional (PLA+) I don't know if the original Maxx has the same roll cage dimensions so I don't know if will work on that - but it probably will.
