Update 5/12/2015: Spent some quality time bashing with my Traxxas Stampede, resulting in a front A-Arm mount breakage. Repaired it by re-printing the part in a new direction and fortunately didn't encounter any issues this time around. I'm convinced that the direction I printed it in played a significant role in preventing further damage. Printing in the same direction as my .STL file layout is strongly recommended for a hassle-free experience. I made some necessary adjustments to accommodate stock piece placement, re-scaled and moved many of the holes to prevent bolt installation complications. Originally, the front A-Arms were rubbing against the plastic parts due to incorrect sizing. I fixed this by reconfiguring them. Additionally, several holes in the original model were too small, causing them to snap when force was applied while installing bolts. With these changes, your print job should yield a working piece right out of the printer. Follow these steps: Utilize a 1/8 inch drill bit for precise Front A-Arm screw hole drilling to achieve perfect fitment and zero play. In case you encounter any fitment issues, use acetone to fine-tune small clearances that may be too tight.
