The animated sequence retraces Curiosity's path through the Murray buttes using a meticulously crafted 3D model. The Murray buttes themselves were carefully constructed with data from HiRISE. A talented artist combined expertise in Blender, Max, and Photoshop to bring this vision to life. To immerse viewers, the animation was scaled for VR viewing. Curiosity's model was designed by Brian Kumanchik, a skilled NASA/JPL-Caltech artist.
