Traveling Spice Box for Century: Spice Road - Sleeved Edition
thingiverse
This is an updated version of my original Century Spice Road trip that now accommodates sleeved cards and has a sleeker appearance. In this edition I replaced the 3D printed lettering with a bold graphic using vinyl lettering to give it a cleaner look. This travel box is designed to completely replace the original box in a more compact, easily packable format to save space as well as wear and tear on the original box. Some of the features include: - The spice tray has a sculpted bottom for easy removal of spices. - The coin box has coins divided into pairs since you always set out pairs based on the number of players. - The box is designed for sleeved cards, but it will work fine with unsleeved cards too. With unsleeved cards, there will be some extra room in the bottom card storage area. You can fill this space with foam or cardboard if needed. - The lettering on the lid is made of durable Oracal 651 vinyl. When compared to the original game box (approximately 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/2"), this travel box is significantly smaller and more compact (approximately 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 2 1/4"). This travel box is less than half the size of the original game box. I recommend printing the rules summary card, available at BoardGameGeek. You can download it at https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/149023/century-spice-road-summary-card. Since it's the same size as a spice card, it fits perfectly and you'll always have a summary available when you travel. Note: I'm not sure if this is compatible with the Golem version since I don't have access to a copy of that game. The only area of potential issue is the size of the crystals compared to the spice cubes. **If you don't have access to a 3D printer or would like to support my hobby, I've made these available complete with the pictured lettering on my Etsy shop at Store All The Bits.**
