I attach these over the loop connectors that normally connect to the positive terminals of my RV's battery, then secure all loose wires with bungee cords. This prevents bare connectors from touching the trailer hitch they're lashed to when the battery isn't present, like during storage lot entry or exit. To utilize these, insert the wire into the slot and pull the connector up inside the protector. Secure the wires just behind the cinched-up protector so it can't work loose. For larger battery cables, scale up the entire mesh in all dimensions at once. Scaling Y without Z will cause the 45-degree roof to exceed 45 degrees, requiring additional support materials.
