Travel tea light Menorah
thingiverse
This is a Chanukah Menorah for LED tea lights but it can be used as a general candelabra. Although it is intended only for LED tea lights, there is a depression in the seating part of each holder which reduces the effect of heat from a wax tea light. Discretion should be used when using wax tea lights. This is intended to be sent through the post as an unassembled Menorah. This allows the smallest packaging size - an empty 750g filament box is ideal. Thus it is a self-assembly Menorah. Each candle holder should be printed with the base on the printbead and a holding brim. No support is therefore necessary. The location pins (9 off) should be fitted to each candle holder. The base and all pin-fitted holders can then be packed loose in a box for transit and assembled later. The design is symmetrical about holder 9, so you need to print two of each subsequent holders - 1+8, 2+7, 3+6, 4+5. The holes in the base are of course bigger than the pin diameter and may cause the candle holders to fit too loosely. A little light glue can be used to keep them in position. Do not use superglue unless you know exactly the final position of each holder. The arrangement of the candle holders is intended to be a gradual decline with each pair dropping by 5mm down from 9 to 1+8.
