This is a variant of the well known “TicTacToe” game. You can also find it under the name Gobblet, but then you have a 4 X 4 field. The 3 X 3 field is called Gobblet juniorIn this game each player has 3x3 pieces. The bigger piece can be placed over a smaller piece. The “official game rules are below” (The 3mf files print 4x3 sets, aber best is to play with 3x3 game pieces per person)This game is easily transportable and can be played in a car, train or plane while traveling. The lid has been designed in such way that it is easily taken off to use as a tray to hold the unused or not yet used pieces.I printed the parts with 0.2 mm layer in PLA. The smaller parts (clamp and game pieces) with 0.1 mm layer. The bottom is printed with a color change for the last few layers to make the game field better visible. It is best to glue the clamp to the lid.You can use pieces of filament for the hinge. Probably you have to ream the holes with a 1.8 mm drill. When you print this design, please post it.Game RulesObject of the Game:Be the first player to align 3 goblets in a row. Horizontal, vertical or diagonal. In turns players can either put a new goblet on the board or move one of their goblets already on the board to an empty space or gobble up any smaller size gobble with a bigger one. The first player to align 3 goblets, any size, but the same color, in a row wins.Alternative and or extended game rules.Setting UpEach player chooses a color and arranges his goblets in 3 stacksof 3 gblets each. Only the 3 biggests gobblets are showing at the beginning These stacks are called external stacks.PlayingIn turns, players can either put a new gobblet on the board, or move one off their goblets already on the board to any empty spacce or cover up any smaller size goblet with a bigger goblet.
