Unlike to regular RHCP antennas with plastic head and flexible cable, the patch directional antenna can be broken easily. Since Maple Wireless is pretty expensive, I decided to design a protective case. Many templates have been printed in order to find optimal solution that fits the antenna's shape in the best way. Support is required only for the hinges ("touching build plate", no any support inside hinges - please check) and for the front latch. I used ASA for final printing. For this type of filament only "rafts" adhesion works for me. I also covered printer by empty XL size "vacuum storage bag" from dollar store to keep temperature high, good contact between build plate and model and minimize any smell.
