Travel Pill Twist-Container

It Zips!

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS

This Twist-container should be printed using vase mode, and, as possible, food safe filament if you're going to put pills in it like me.

There are two files; one for the bottom and the top parts. Since Vase mode prints only one object at a time, you will need to print them one at a time (I never tried printing this model in other modes myself).

OTHER INFO

The round shape of the wall of the container make it strong enough when closed to be put in luggage. It also won't empty in your bags, as friction helps keeping it closed.

TOLERANCES FOR VASE MODE

Space between the top and the bottom parts of the model : 0.65 mm

Effective tolerance = 0.65 - Layer width

This model is made for vase mode, which only instructs your slicer where to put the external perimeters. In order to calculate your effective tolerance, you can calculate 0.65 (the spacing) minus your layer width, which on a .4mm layer width will give you a .15mm tolerance. You will have to scale it if you use a different layer width or your printer can't achieve .15 mm tolerances. If you scale the model, be advised that the tolerances should stay tight enough so that the container should be able to remain closed.

If you are just trying to print my model with an unmodified Prusa Printer with PrusaSlicer, you should be fine without any modification.

Happy Printing!
