Having used Taylor's Ultimaker feeder extensively, I've encountered two broken mount pieces during travels. To enhance durability, I plan to shift the feeder one centimeter to the right, aligning the filament intake hole with the outer spool area. On September 12th (v2_r4), at Maker Faire day two, I noticed the mount sagging, possibly due to proximity to the stepper motor. Two more revisions followed: the feeder was moved one centimeter closer to the right side. This reduces heating and increases space between the large gear and spools on the spool mount. The model is sliced in Cura with 65% infill, 0.2-layer thickness, and 1.0-wall thickness. No longer a work in progress, I am satisfied with the current design.
