For many years, my trusty travel soap dish had been a loyal companion on all my adventures, but its time finally came to an end, so I decided to create a brand new replacement that would serve me just as well. This innovative design features large holes for efficient drainage and drying, which not only makes it easier to clean but also reduces the amount of plastic used and saves precious printing time. Choose either style and print two copies of the same file - trust me, you'll be grateful you did if you don't want to struggle with assembly. I personally prefer the snap-together version (A), but even then, it can be a bit finicky to get right. On the other hand, version (B) is specifically designed for use with 1.75mm filament as the hinge - just heat up a metal piece, press it onto one end of the filament until it widens and flattens to your liking, then carefully put the piece through the holes and flatten the other end without melting anything else in the process. I recommend using two separate pieces, one for each side, but you can also use a single long piece if that's what works best for you - just be warned, I haven't actually printed version (B) yet, so if anyone does give it a try, please share your results with me so I know it prints properly. To shut the soap dish, simply swing it closed, and to open it, press lightly on the front opposite each of the clips and pull - easy peasy!
