Travel Chess Set MMU Board and Alternative Case

This project requires the chess figures from the original Staunton Travel Chess Set by WhatWouldAnEngineerDo.  Here we have a smaller volume case/organizer that stores the pieces horizontally and makes it easy to determine that all pieces are present.  During play, the case can hold captured pieces.   During transport of the closed case, the playing board holds the pieces in their recessed locations.   A large rubber band can be used to hold the case together. For someone who does not own a MMU material changer, a revised board square is part of this project and it is properly sized for the case in this project when combined with the first version borders of the original project scaled at 103.5%.  This scaling value must be entered when slicing the border parts.  The board square in this project has angled dovetail ceilings to avoid droop, and the pin is more strongly tapered with an undercut at the base.  I strongly recommend printing in PETG on a textured sheet.  This material choice avoids issues with small PLA tabs breaking off which has been addressed by the original author with newer version files.  When printing the black border pieces, use a female dovetail piece from the original white border set as there is/was an issue of the black piece being undersized. For someone who does own an MMU material changer, load the “white” filament as #1 and the “black” as #2.  Sit back and appreciate the savings in labor and glue as the entire board is printed.  The finished board is a snug, flat fit in the case base.  I have not needed glue to hold it in place.I've printed all parts with default settings for the 0.2mm layer thickness which includes only 15% fill.  PETG parts are strong enough to not require more fill. After printing the chess pieces with the original design holes of 3.6mm, if a piece fits too tightly on the pins, then use a #29 drill bit (0.136" diameter) held in a pin vise or hand held chuck to gently open the hole to the precise diameter of the drill bit.  This will provide an excellent precision fit on the tapered pins.  The pieces will sit flush on the board squares because of the undercut.
