I installed the P.E.I on one side of my GTMax Core H4 windshield, so I decided to make a easier-to-use latch. The original probably wasn't designed for frequent removal. The handle rotates over the glass and with use wears down the edges until there's no more surface area holding it. I made this one with a right-angle enclosure to hold both the glass and the handle, with a larger body for better handling, rotating on top of the enclosure instead of the glass.
