I'm trying to make my furniture less noticeable by changing its color. I used three neodymium magnets. For the CONTROL magnet, I used one that's 6mm x 2mm in size. For the LOCK, I used an 8mm x 1.5mm magnet. For the BOX_KEY, I removed a magnet from a damaged hard drive but you can also use one that's 16mm x 5mm. The BASE_OPTIONAL allows me to take out the LOCK whenever I want to disable it. I glued the parts onto the furniture using double-sided tape from 3M. To make the BOX more functional, I added an optional simpler lid.
