The human body is made up of more than 60 trillion cells, each one a tiny factory that works tirelessly to keep us alive. These cells are the building blocks of life, and they're incredibly complex. They have their own system of highways, known as the cytoskeleton, which helps them move materials in and out of the cell. The cytoskeleton is made up of long, thin filaments that look like tiny roads.
