Trash can push rod attachment

Our trash can has a foot lever you step on that opens the lid ... except it recently quit working. The single plastic part (w/skinny section for flexing) broke from too much flexing. I whipped this up with a tinkercad ball joint. It's designed so the metal road goes through most of main part so layer line weakness shouldn't be an issue (we'll see!). Printed with ball pointing up, a bit of brim. Joint on bed with cylinder pointing up. Both us solid infill/lots of perimeters.
