Trash Can Compactor
thingiverse
At work, the bathroom garbage can was constantly overflowing with used paper towels and tissues. Clearly, no one wanted to stick their hand in there to push it down, so I printed a trash can compactor. In addition to the two 3D-printed pieces you'll need, a length of 7/8-inch wooden dowel rod is also required. I cut mine to 32 inches, but the length really doesn't matter. You'll also need a one-inch long wood screw to attach the base to the dowel rod. When pressing the two pieces onto the dowel rod, I also applied some E6000 adhesive to bond it better.
