Trapper Canoes - Canoe Rodholder Challenge

In its early stage, this project aims to advance further in future work. For those participating in the challenge, there are boat profiles available in the main files. The canoe's model was scaled to fit the rod holder, resulting in a slightly rough appearance; however, profiles are provided for others to build upon. Additional components like screws, bolts, and fixings will be added. The primary materials used will be biodegradable while maintaining high tensile strength, although further research is needed on suitable options. Depending on the material, individual parts can be manufactured through press, casting, or 3D printing. Design advantages include a 360° x 270° rotation, blends enhancing strength for catching larger fish, and complementing the Trapper brand's design flow while maintaining a traditional yet original feel. Easy positioning is achieved through adjustable nuts, and simple rod placement is facilitated by location "ribs." Future modifications to the rod holder will accommodate different-sized rods, achievable by extruding location ribs through the diameter. Dimensions will be refined closer to competition end.
