The morphology of Transylvania's Saxon villages exhibits distinct differences. Residential buildings in these rural settlements are closely tied to agricultural production and crop cycles, with domestic space distribution reflecting this connection. Typically, homes were situated at plot endings, overlooking streets with entrances that defined and enclosed the property. Elongated internal courtyards, separated by main doors, showcase a clear "introverted" sequence of spaces, often divided into five primary areas. The first strip of each plot is occupied by family homes or residential nuclei.
