Transport screw workaround for wade extruder
thingiverse
For wade screw preparation, I initially tried the tap method but found it unsuccessful. Thus, I opted for the teeth version. This technique involves attaching a disc with desired tooth divisions onto the screw and securing it with a nut. Mount this assembly into a drill press and fix a Dremel on the table. Centering the Dremel on the screw, pull the table towards it while moving the drill chuck up and down for evenly distributed teeth. After cutting the first tooth, turn the drill chuck to align with the next division and repeat until all teeth are cut. Remember, this screw design requires well-tightened nuts to prevent unscrewing in the extruder; use two nuts or a locknut.
