WORK IN PROGRESS This is a teaser/backup for my G1 Metroplex re-creation project - one of the most iconic characters from the G1/IDW universe that has never received the toy representation it deserves. The project will include: New arms designed to enhance functionality and detail New thighs engineered for improved stability and mobility A waist extender for seamless transformation between modes As I recreate files from a year ago, lost due to a HDD failure, I'm working with black prints from an unreliable printer that lacked detail. My focus is on perfecting bot mode look and articulation in the first step, followed by integrating new parts into transformation/alt mode. Metroplex's design makes this process relatively straightforward. No modifications will be required to the original figure, but it will need to be disassembled for upgrades. Stay tuned! UPDATE: The first arm assembly is now complete, but it requires further redesign due to tight tolerances in the printed parts. Check out the assembled pictures and note that you'll need M2 bolts with sharp tips and threads, along with an 8mm diameter spring (14/6 mm length), to assemble the new part successfully.
