Transmitter module case for Turnigy 9X - to fit FrSky DHT module

This replacement transmitter module case is designed specifically for the Hobby King Turnigy 9x. For those who wish to upgrade their unit to a FrSky DHT radio module, multiple installation methods exist, but I chose to integrate it within the same housing. Consequently, a new enclosure was necessary. I positioned the antenna in its regular spot, thereby requiring it to run down and through a specific hole leading to the module. This case comes with an integrated antenna mount, which features a snug press fit onto the existing stem. The bind button and LED are situated on the rear lid, while connectivity to the transmitter pins is achieved via a header connector. For securing the board, I applied poster tape to the back of the enclosure. Although a toggle switch was included, it remained unused as I exclusively utilize D-mode functionality with my transmitter setup. Data transmission will exit through the same opening. Installation should only require additional support beneath the wing tabs and antenna adapter.
