Transistor Checker Anti-Rock
thingiverse
I purchased a Transistor Checker that consistently malfunctioned due to a loose ZIF socket. Every time I attempted to use it, the socket would rock and frequently fall out. To resolve this problem, I designed an Anti-Rocker that fits snugly between the Transistor Checker and the ZIF socket, preventing it from rocking in place. By attaching this device to the ZIF socket with glue, I was able to ensure reliable performance. This solution is not intended as a testimonial for the Transistor Checker itself, but rather as a practical fix for an annoying issue that I encountered.
