This speaker case is designed specifically for housing the kitronik mono amplifier circuit, cleverly concealing it from view when not in use by disguising itself as a simple box. However, sliding the slider on either side of the case causes a cover to retract into the box and swing out of the way, revealing the speaker in a unique and clever manner shown in this video: The speaker is then exposed with no obstructions, such as a speaker grill, resulting in superior audio quality. When finished using the speaker, slide the slider back up and the speaker drops backwards, allowing the cover to slide back into position, protecting the speaker and concealing the system from view. By painting the case, you can make the speaker blend seamlessly into its surroundings when not in use, making it a completely camouflaged speaker system until you slide the slider, revealing the speaker as the box transforms into a high-quality sound system ready for all your audio needs. This design is printed in just four pieces, some of which may require support material. The assembly process is straightforward and simple, requiring just a little hot glue to secure the speaker in position, as shown in the video below. All moving parts have been designed with a 0.3mm clearance between them, ensuring that when assembled, all parts move and slide freely.
