Vanguard was the action master partner of Sideswipe in Generation 1. This model is based on Vanguard's appearance in the Transformers Trading Card Game and features a removable helmet compatible with Siege Sideswipe to recreate the functionality of the G1 toy. The turrets on the Vanguard helmet are attached via 5mm pegs, compatible with official transformers toys, while the end of the barrels feature 3mm pegs compatible with Siege blast effects.
