Just finished the final paintwork and successfully tested 3D printing of all parts for Wheeljack, so he's now ready to roll out! The top and bottom components have been separated into four and three pieces respectively to facilitate easier 3D printing, particularly on smaller printers. The top pieces are also split to make painting easier. Small peg holes are present in the bottom parts, allowing you to use approximately 1.5mm rods to align them before gluing them down in place. The windscreen and two side windows are individual pieces that can be 3D printed with translucent or natural filament. The images shown above feature these parts spray-painted with clear blue paint to achieve a cartoon-accurate tint, which also enables the addition of lighting effects. Inside this model, you can print and install the console and seats as seen in the original cartoons, or remove them if you prefer to load up another small Autobot car in alt mode. A removable tailgate will close off Wheeljack's alt mode rear. This model is not intended for commercial use or resale and is exclusively designed for personal use only.
