Just put the final touches on the paintwork and ran the last tests on all components of Wheeljack, so he's fully assembled and ready for deployment. To simplify 3D printing, we've split both the top and bottom sections into separate parts. The upper parts are broken down into four segments, while the lower section consists of three pieces that can be easily printed with smaller machines. Small peg holes are incorporated on the lower parts, enabling you to secure them in place with 1.5mm rods before gluing them together. The windshield and two side windows can also be 3D printed in translucent or natural filament, which we've shown in images here, finished off with clear blue paint for a cartoon-accurate hue that's easy to match. We've done this for added lighting effects in the model, which really pop when illuminated from within. If you open up Wheeljack, you'll find room to print and install a full interior kit complete with console and seats just like in the original cartoons - or simply remove them to load in a companion car of similar size into its alt mode. A hinged tailgate helps seal off Wheeljack's alt mode backside.
