Articulated hands for Combiner Wars style Gestalts and any other figure attaching onto a 5mm peg are not suitable for holding 5mm peg guns. Note: Printed on my Ultimaker Original Plus, this design requires fine-tuning like re-drilling the holes for the steel rod, cutting the rod into pieces, and addressing potential friction issues that may require sanding or filing. You must mirror the hand body in your slicer to produce the other hand. Universal hinges are used for all fingers, so you will need five per hand and middle finger section is also universal, requiring five per hand. Fingertips - one short for thumb, two long for middle, and two regular for sides. Each hand requires a single peg. If you need to re-drill the holes, it's recommended to use a 1mm hand drill at a very slow speed, as anything faster will easily cut through like butter (temperature). The best results are achieved with PLA on UMO+ using this setup: temperature - 215°C, bed - 50°C. Layer height - 0.1, shell - 0.8, bottom/top fill - 0.8, infill - 100%, and print speed - 30mm/s (applied to all categories of printing/travel). Support type is everywhere for the hand body only, while none are required for fingers and hinges. Platform adhesion is achieved with a brim of 20 lines. Print one at a time, as enabled; otherwise, you will experience horrible stringing. This project remains tested and developed, so feel free to leave comments and tips.
